April is Stress Awareness Month, Autism Acceptance Month, and National Financial Literacy Month. Below are more timely topics you’ll want to share to keep employees engaged throughout April.

1. Tax Day

2. Financial Literacy Month

April is National Financial Literacy Month! Created by the Jump$tart Coalition to raise awareness about the importance of financial literacy and the need for effective financial education.

3. Earth Day

Be kind to your mother, mother earth, that is! This year’s theme for Earth Day is “Invest in Our Planet.” Earth Day is April 22nd, so how will you show up for our planet this year?

4. Stress Awareness Month

5. World Autism Awareness Day

April 2nd marks the 15th annual World Autism Awareness Day, which the United Nations started in 2007. The goal is to encourage global awareness about Autism Spectrum Disorder and increase understanding and acceptance of people with autism to foster worldwide support.

6. Move More Month

Created by the American Heart Association, Move More Month is all about–you guessed it, moving more! The main focus is to ensure you’re getting your 10,000 steps in daily, or better yet, doing at least 20 minutes of aerobic exercise each day!

7. World Health Day

This year, World Health Day is on April 7th, and the theme is “Our Planet, Our Health.” Imagine what the world would be like if everyone had the same access to clean air, water, and food, where economies focus on health and wellbeing, where cities are liveable, and people have control over their health and the health of their planet.

8. Take Our Daughters And Sons To Work Day

What started as Take Our Daughters to Work Day in 1993 by Gloria Steinem and the Ms. Foundation for Women has since evolved into a more inclusive event and is now known as Take Our Daughters And Sons To Work Day. This year, the event will be on April 28th, and the theme is “New Possibilities Create New Horizons.”
